Right of Withdrawal
For consumers purchasing BILLEVO via billevo.de — including a model withdrawal form. Last updated: June 2026.
Please note: This English text is a convenience translation. The legally binding version is the German original (/widerruf/). In the event of any discrepancy, the German wording prevails. Statutory references and section symbols (§) refer to German law and are left unchanged.
For consumers purchasing BILLEVO via billevo.de — including a model withdrawal form and the electronic online withdrawal function. Last updated: June 2026.
1. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (here: software download and license key), the period starts on conclusion of the contract — not on receipt of any goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

Email: service@billevo.de
of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email).
You have the following options for this — all are equivalent:
- You use the electronic withdrawal function on our website (the “Cancel contract” button followed by the confirmation “Confirm withdrawal”) — see section 5.
- You use the attached model withdrawal form (section 4); however, this is not mandatory.
- You write to us informally by email at service@billevo.de or by post to the address given above.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse all payments we have received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
Note on compensation for value: For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium (here: software download and license key), you owe no compensation for value (§ 357a (3) BGB) in the event of an effective withdrawal. As a rule, however, the right of withdrawal has already expired once performance has begun with your express consent (see section 3); compensation for value cannot then arise at all.
3. Early expiry of the right of withdrawal (digital content, § 356 (5) BGB)
In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium (here: software download and license key), the right of withdrawal expires pursuant to § 356 (5) BGB once we have begun performance of the contract after you have
- expressly consented to us beginning performance of the contract before the withdrawal period has expired,
- confirmed your awareness that, by giving your consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract begins, and
- we have provided you with confirmation of the contract pursuant to § 312f BGB (by email).
We request the consent (1) and the confirmation of your awareness (2) during checkout in two separate declarations so that you can receive your license key immediately; you will receive the contract confirmation (3) by email.
As long as you have not given the consent (1) and the awareness confirmation (2), your right of withdrawal remains in place — in particular, you can then use the electronic withdrawal function (section 5).
Tip: You can try BILLEVO free for 30 days without any payment details before buying — so you can take your time to check whether the software is right for you before you purchase.
The purchase of BILLEVO is a one-off (point-in-time) provision of digital content for a single fee (cf. Terms § 2) — not a subscription and not a continuous provision.
4. Model withdrawal form
(If you wish to withdraw from the contract, please complete this form and send it back. Use of the form is voluntary.)

5. Online withdrawal in one click (electronic withdrawal function, § 356a BGB)
New from 19 June 2026: You can declare your withdrawal directly online — quickly, without logging in and without having to print out a form. For this we provide you with an electronic withdrawal function pursuant to § 356a BGB. It is clearly visible, easily accessible and reachable without login throughout the entire withdrawal period.
It works in two steps:
- Step 1 — “Cancel contract”: You enter the information required for processing (at least your name and an email address to which we send the acknowledgement of receipt; optionally an order/invoice number and date of purchase for easier allocation).
- Step 2 — “Confirm withdrawal”: You check your details in a short summary and submit the withdrawal via the “Confirm withdrawal” button.
After submission, we confirm receipt of the withdrawal to you without undue delay on a durable medium (by email to the address you provided), including the content of your withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time of receipt.
To the electronic withdrawal function (two steps, no login): ../withdrawal-form/
Alternatively, you can also use the model withdrawal form (section 4) or write to us informally at service@billevo.de. All routes are equivalent.
